Lighthouse by Lydia Rachel Stone

  Lighthouse

Where are you. I can't find you. I'm blind. I stumble. I fall.

I stumble, bumble, and fall. Where are you? It is so dark! I can't see! Where are you?!

There you are. I see a light in the distance. A lighthouse in the sea.

A beam of light for ships lost in the ocean, a lighthouse by the water's edge.

I am like a ship in the night, lost in the dark.

I see you now, but not as clearly as you see me.

Shine your light on me, Master of the lighthouse, shine your light.

Oh guardian of light, bring forth your truth.
